Morocco Sahara Desert camping, a 3-day and 2-night adventure perfect for backpackers seeking a romantic journey in Morocco. Departing from Marrakesh, crossing the Atlas Mountains, visiting the filming locations of ‘Game of Thrones’ – Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, passing through Dades Valley, Todra Gorge, and finally reaching the Sahara Desert. Starting from there, embark on a camel ride through the Moroccan Sahara Desert, an exploration of the vast dunes, witnessing the sunset, experiencing the indigenous Moroccan lifestyle at the Sahara campsite, relishing in Sahara-style dinners, accompanied by Berber music and campfires, enjoying traditional dances, observing and capturing the Sahara’s starry skies, creating a romantic Sahara night.
Marrakesh -> Ait Ben haddou -> Dades Valley
Hop on the tour bus (at or near your hotel in Marrakech) and embark on a scenic drive through the High Atlas mountains, passing the Tich'n'Tichka pass. Our stop at UNESCO-protected Ait Ben haddou, famous from many films, precedes our journey to the desert via Ouarzazate and Kalaat Mgouna. The day concludes in Dades Valley for an overnight stay.

Dades -> Todra Gorge -> Sahara Desert Camp
After breakfast, continue the journey to Merzouga. En route, you'll pass through the Todra Gorge for photo opportunities. Arrive in the afternoon at the great dunes, where you'll taste the Sahara's welcoming tea before riding camels to the Sahara Desert camp. Along the way, there will be a stop to admire the romantic desert sunset. Finally, arrive at the campsite for dinner, accompanied by music and campfires, spending a unique Sahara night under the stars.

Sahara Camp -> Marrakesh
Watch the sunrise at the great dunes in the early morning. After enjoying a special Sahara breakfast, begin the journey back to Marrakech.
